Ana Bretón is a twice-Emmy nominated director and producer who focuses her work on comedy & documentaries.
She’s seasoned in TV & film production as a cinematographer, editor, director & producer. She is currently at the late night show Full Frontal with Samantha Bee. This year she also directed her first pilot, RUN, a docu-series where a team of female political experts transform the campaign of a woman running for office. Watch the trailer. Ana has produced video content for IFC, DETAILS Magazine, GQ, UCB Comedy, and Brava, a new video platform focusing on the Latina experience. She was a camera operator for the movie "In Football We Trust," which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2015 and won a regional Emmy in 2017. Ana was part the the UCB Digital Teams LASH and The Council; The PIT’s all female team The Box; and directed the now-famous sketch team Kids These Days. She's proud to be one of the few Latinas to have been nominated for an Emmy in 2017 and 2018. She was born in Mexico City, and currently lives in NYC. Si, hablo Español.
